American Mccartney Kessler defeated Frenchwoman Margaux Rouvroy 4-6, 6-1, 6-0 to advance to the last 16 of the Open BLS de Limoges on Monday.
Kessler, ranked No 224, will play the winner of the match between Zeynep Sonmez and Russian Erika Andreeva, the No 7 seed, next.
