Frenchwoman Clara Burel moved into the last 16 of the Palermo Open by winning against Austrian Julia Grabher, the No 8 seed, 6-4, 7-5 at A.S.D. Country Time Club on Monday evening.
Burel, ranked No 94, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Cristina Bucsa and Maltese lucky loser Francesca Curmi next.
