German Laura Siegemund won against Pole wildcard Maja Chwalinska 6-4, 6-1 to advance to the last 16 of the Poland Open at the Legia Tennis Centre in Warsaw.
Siegemund, ranked No 153, will face the winner of the match between Xiyu Wang and No 4 seed Lin Zhu next.
