Greet Minnen beat Eva Lys 6-0, 7-6 (4) on Thursday and will face the winner of the match between wildcard Maja Chwalinska and wildcard Martyna Kubka in the next round

Belgian Greet Minnen, the No 4 seed, won against German Eva Lys, the No 9 seed, 6-0, 7-6 (4) to reach the last four of the Polish Open on Thursday.
Minnen, ranked No 113, will play the winner of the match between wildcard Maja Chwalinska and wildcard Martyna Kubka next.
Ahead of her victory, the Belgian beat Croat Petra Marcinko (6-1, 6-0) and Swiss Susan Bandecchi (6-2, 6-2).
Lys, ranked No 148, defeated Pole wildcard Weronika Ewald (6-1, 6-2) and Ukrainian Katarina Zavatska (6-3, 6-0) earlier in the tournament.
