Puerto Vallarta Open: Masarova secures spot in semi-finals
Rebeka Masarova beat Maddison Inglis in three sets on Friday in Puerto Vallarta. She will face Romanian Jaqueline Cristian, the top seed, in the semis.

Rebeka Masarova advanced to the last four of the Puerto Vallarta Open by defeating Australian wildcard Maddison Inglis 6-1, 2-6, 6-2 on Saturday night.
Masarova, ranked No 168, will play top-seeded Romanian Jaqueline Cristian in the semis.
The Swiss previously beat American Varvara Lepchenko (6-3, 6-4) and edged out American Bernarda Pera, the No 4 seed (5-7, 6-3, 6-4).
Earlier in the tournament, Inglis, ranked No 128, got the best of Emily Appleton (6-1, 6-2) and Russian Erika Andreeva, the No 7 seed (6-4, 6-2).
