Qatar Open: Noskova cruises into last 16, plays Swiatek next

Linda Noskova won against Kazakh Yulia Putintseva 6-2, 6-3 to move into the last 16 of the Qatar Open at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha on Tuesday afternoon.
Noskova, ranked No 33, will play Pole Iga Swiatek, the second seed, next.
Linda Noskova beat Croat Donna Vekic, the No 15 seed (6-2, 6-4) in the previous round of the Qatar tournament.
During the first round of the Qatar tournament, Putintseva, ranked No 20, won against Japanese qualifier Moyuka Uchijima (6-2, 6-7 (5), 6-3).
