Rouen Open: Parrizas Diaz into last eight

Nuria Parrizas Diaz moved into the last 8 of the Rouen Open by winning against Marina Bassols Ribera 7-6 (6), 4-6, 6-2 at Palais des sports de Rouen on Thursday.

Parrizas Diaz, ranked No 132, will face the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Alize Cornet, the No 5 seed, and Hungarian Dalma Galfi next.

Nuria Parrizas Diaz beat Australian qualifier Astra Sharma (6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Rouen tournament.
