‘s-Hertogenbosch Open: Alexandrova books spot in quarter-finals

Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 3 seed, defeated American Emina Bektas 7-5, 6-4 to reach the last 8 of the’s-Hertogenbosch Open at Autotron Rosmalen on Thursday.
Alexandrova, ranked No 16, will face the winner of the match between American qualifier Robin Montgomery and German Jule Niemeier next.
The Russian won against Australian Arina Rodionova (6-3, 6-4) in the previous round of the Rosmalen tournament.
In the 32 of the Rosmalen tournament, Bektas, ranked No 96, beat Russian Anna Blinkova (6-4, 6-0).
