Seoul Open: Zhu into last 8
Lin Zhu won against Ankita Raina 6-1, 6-3 on Wednesday night and will play the winner of the match between German Tatjana Maria, the No 7 seed, and Australian Kimberly Birrell in the next round
Chinese Lin Zhu, the No 4 seed, moved into the quarter-finals of the Seoul Open by beating Indian qualifier Ankita Raina 6-1, 6-3 at the Seoul Olympic Park on Wednesday night.
Zhu, ranked No 70, will play the winner of the match between German Tatjana Maria, the No 7 seed, and Australian Kimberly Birrell next.
Ahead of her victory, the Chinese won against Su Jeong Jang (6-3, 6-4).
Raina, ranked No 329, won against Australian Maddison Inglis (4-6, 7-5, 6-1) in the previous round of the Hana Bank Korea Open.
