Serena Williams gives birth to second daughter, Adira River Ohanian

The 23-time Grand Slam champion is now a mother of two, and Olympia has a kid sister!

It’s a girl! Serena Williams gave birth to her second daughter, Adira River, and announced the news on social media along with her husband, Alexis Ohanian.

Williams announced the news on Instagram and also on TikTok, with a video entitled “Welcome by beautiful angel.”

Williams, who holds the record for women’s singles Grand Slam titles in the Open Era with 23, played her last match at the 2022 US Open – she will turn 42 in September.

Her husband posted his thoughts as well as a link to the TikTok video on X:
