Strasbourg Open: Kalinina advances to semi-finals
Anhelina Kalinina beat Marketa Vondrousova 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 on Friday night and will face American Danielle Collins, the No 3 seed, in the next round

Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina defeated top seed Marketa Vondrousova 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 to move into the last four of the Strasbourg Open at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg on Friday night.
Kalinina, ranked No 56, will play American Danielle Collins, the No 3 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Ukrainian edged out Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, the No 8 seed (6-3, 3-6, 6-4) and won against French wildcard Fiona Ferro (6-3, 3-6, 6-0).
Vondrousova, ranked No 6, won against Pole qualifier Magdalena Frech (5-7, 6-1, 6-0) in the previous round of the Strasbourg tournament.
