Thailand Open: Zhu reaches second round
Lin Zhu defeated Taylah Preston 6-4, 7-5 on Tuesday. She’ll face Linda Fruhvirtova in the next round

Chinese Lin Zhu, the second seed, defeated Australian qualifier Taylah Preston 6-4, 7-5 to move into the second round of the Thailand Open at the True Arena Hua Hin.
Zhu, ranked No 45, will face Linda Fruhvirtova next.
