Hungarian Anna Bondar moved into the second round of the Transylvania Open by defeating Ukrainian qualifier Anastasiya Soboleva 5-7, 6-2, 6-3 at the BTarena in Cluj-Napoca on Tuesday.
Bondar, ranked No 116, will face the winner of the match between Romanian wildcard Elena-Gabriela Ruse and American Alycia Parks, the second seed, next.
