Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, the No 5 seed, beat Croat qualifier Antonia Ruzic 7-5, 6-1 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Upper Austria Ladies at the TipsArena in Linz.
Yastremska, ranked No 72, will face Greek Maria Sakkari, the No 3 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Ukrainian won against Italian Lucia Bronzetti (7-6 (6), 7-5).
Ruzic, ranked No 168, defeated Egyptian Mayar Sherif (6-3, 6-4) in the previous round of the Linz tournament.
