Zhengzhou Open: Paolini moves into quarter-finals with comeback win over Garcia

Italian Jasmine Paolini moved into the last eight of the Zhengzhou Open by edging out Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, the No 6 seed, 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 at Zhongyuan Tennis Training Base Management Center on Wednesday.
Paolini, ranked No 31, will face the winner of the match between Russian Liudmila Samsonova, the No 11 seed, and German qualifier Laura Siegemund next.
In the previous round of the Zhengzhou tournament, the Italian won against Japanese lucky loser Moyuka Uchijima (6-2, 6-3).
