Raducanu’s next opponent at Wimbledon: Caroline Garcia of France

Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia advanced to the second round of Wimbledon by edging out wildcard Yuriko Miyazaki 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (4) at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Monday evening.
The former world No 4 stretched her winning streak to six matches – she claimed the Bad Homburg title on Saturday by defeating Bianca Andreescu.
Garcia, ranked No 55, will play No 10 seed Emma Raducanu next.
The British No 1 was victorious on her Centre Court debut on Monday, defeating Belgium’s Alison Van Uytvanck, 6-4 6-4.
