Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 4 seed, won against American Marcos Giron 7-6 (5), 6-3 to advance to the last four of the Delray Beach Open at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center on Friday evening.
Kecmanovic, ranked No 33, will face the winner of the match between Radu Albot and American Tommy Paul, the second seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the Serb beat Portuguese qualifier Nuno Borges (6-3, 7-5).
Giron, ranked No 55, won against No 8 seed Ben Shelton (6-4, 6-4) and Croat qualifier Matija Pecotic (6-3, 6-3) in the previous rounds of the Delray Beach tournament.
