Dubai Duty Free Championships: Muchova through to last 16
Karolina Muchova defeated Sorana Cirstea 6-4, 7-6 (4) on Tuesday and will face the winner of the match between Swiss Belinda Bencic, the No 8 seed, and Ukrainian wildcard Marta Kostyuk in the next round

Czech Karolina Muchova reached the last 16 of the Dubai Duty Free Championships by winning against Romanian Sorana Cirstea 6-4, 7-6 (4) at The Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Tuesday.
Muchova, ranked No 112, will play the winner of the match between Swiss Belinda Bencic, the No 8 seed, and Ukrainian wildcard Marta Kostyuk next.
Ahead of her victory, the Czech defeated American Bernarda Pera (6-1, 6-4).
Cirstea, ranked No 70, edged out Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, the No 11 seed (4-6, 7-6 (7), 7-5) in the previous round of the Dubai Open.
