Miami Masters: Van De Zandschulp advances, Ruud could be next

Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp, the No 26 seed, won against Australian Alexei Popyrin 4-6, 7-6 (4), 6-2 to move into the third round of the Miami Masters at the Hard Rock Stadium on Friday evening.
Van De Zandschulp, ranked No 32, will face the winner of the match between Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 3 seed, and Belarusian Ilya Ivashka next.
Popyrin, ranked No 93, benefited from the abandonment of Swede Mikael Ymer (7-6 (5), 4-4) in the previous round of the Miami Open.
