Bogota Open: Stearns will face Maria in final

American Peyton Stearns moved into the final of the Bogota Open by beating Russian Kamilla Rakhimova, the No 4 seed, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 at the Country Club Bogota on Saturday night.
Stearns, ranked No 116, will play German Tatjana Maria, the second seed, next.
The 21-year-old American won against Spanish qualifier Rosa Vicens Mas (6-3, 6-1), Russian Elina Avanesyan (6-4, 6-1) and Slovenian Tamara Zidansek (6-3, 2-6, 6-2) ahead of her victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Rakhimova, ranked No 90, won against Cypriot Raluka Serban (7-6 (3), 6-3), Canadian wildcard Eugenie Bouchard (6-0, 6-7 (7), 6-4) and Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo, the No 7 seed (6-4, 7-5).
