Firenze Ladies Open: Paolini beats compatriot Bronzetti to make final on home turf

No 4 seed Jasmine Paolini advanced to the final of the Firenze Ladies Open by winning against No 8 seed Lucia Bronzetti 7-6 (11), 2-6, 6-2 on Saturday.
Paolini, ranked No 65, will face American Taylor Townsend next.
Jasmine Paolini defeated Katie Swan (6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (7)), Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska (7-5, 4-6, 6-3) and Swiss Ylena In-Albon (4-6, 6-4, 6-4) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds, Bronzetti, ranked No 98, won against Australian Olivia Gadecki (3-6, 6-3, 6-0), Slovenian qualifier Dalila Jakupovic (7-6 (1), 6-3) and Australian Priscilla Hon (7-5, 6-3).
