Nottingham Open: Frech books spot in last 16

Pole Magdalena Frech moved into the last 16 of the Nottingham Open by winning against Sonay Kartal 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 at Nottingham Tennis Centre on Monday afternoon.

Frech, ranked No 77, will face the winner of the match between American Alycia Parks and Chinese Lin Zhu, the No 8 seed, next.
