Sara Sorribes Tormo beat Leyre Romero Gormaz 6-0, 6-3 to reach the last 16 of the Valencia Open at the Valencia Tennis Club on Wednesday.
Sorribes Tormo, ranked No 82, will play Italian Sara Errani, the No 3 seed, next.
