Welcome to the top 10, Big Foe!
Frances Tiafoe, champion in Stuttgart, joins the elite Top 10 club, rising two places to a new career high. He is ranked two places lower than compatriot Taylor Fritz – meaning there are two American men in the Top 10 for the first time in over a decade.
Champion Griekspoor
Tallon Griekspoor, the new Libema Open champion, rises nine places to workd No 29 – a new career high for him.
Berrettini falls
Matteo Berrettini drops 13 places to world No 34 – a painful fall to his lowest ranking since April 2019 as he struggles to recover from injury issues. His emotional loss to Lorenzo Sonego in Stuttgart last week indicated just how tough he’s finding things.
Drop for The King
Nick Kyrgios is down to his lowest ranking in almost a year following his first-round exit in Stuttgart, falling six places to world No 31. He’s assured his fans that he will find his grass court form soon – but after withdrawing from the forthcoming tournament in Halle, time is running out ahead of Wimbledon, where he reached the final last year.

Murray closes in on goal
He said he wanted to give himself a chance of being seeded at a Grand Slam again – and climbing six places to world No 38, Andy Murray is just about doing that. He’s won two Challenger titles in two weeks at the start of the grass court season, and is now at his highest ranking since – incredibly – May 2018.
