Halle: Bautista Agut makes last eight

Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, the No 8 seed, advanced to the last eight of Halle by winning against American Brandon Nakashima 7-5, 7-6 (2) at the Owl Arena/Gerry-Weber-Stadion on Wednesday.
Bautista Agut, ranked No 23, will face the winner of the match between Russian Daniil Medvedev, the top seed, and Serb Laslo Djere next.
In the previous round of the Halle Open, the 35-year-old Spaniard beat Italian lucky loser Andrea Vavassori (6-3, 6-4).
Nakashima, ranked No 54, edged out Swede Mikael Ymer (4-6, 6-4, 7-5) in the previous round of the Halle Open.
