Slovak Rebecca Sramkova defeated Italian Lucrezia Stefanini, the second seed, 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 to advance to the last 16 of the Polish Open on Monday evening.
Sramkova, ranked No 156, will play Zeynep Sonmez next.
