Polish Open: Yastremska advances to quarter-finals

Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, the No 8 seed, moved into the quarter-finals of the Polish Open by defeating Colombian Emiliana Arango in straight sets (6-3, 6-2) on Wednesday.
Yastremska, ranked No 149, will face the winner of the match between Latvian Darja Semenistaja and No 3 seed Tereza Martincova next.
Ahead of her victory, the Ukrainian won against Uzbek Nigina Abduraimova (7-5, 7-6 (5)). Arango, ranked No 169, beat Pole wildcard Olivia Lincer (6-3, 6-4) in the previous round.
