Wildcard Clervie Ngounoue moved into the last 16 of the Chicago Women’s Open by edging out Robin Anderson 6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-4 on Tuesday night.

Clervie Ngounoue will play Russian Kamilla Rakhimova, the No 8 seed, next. The American has earned a wildcard into next week’s US Open after winning Girls Nationals 18s title.
