Winston-Salem Open: Borna Coric advances past Hijikata, into round of 16
Borna Coric won against Rinky Hijikata 6-2, 7-6 (2) on Tuesday night and will face the winner of the match between wildcard Michael Mmoh and No 13 seed Marcos Giron in the next round

Croat Borna Coric, the top seed, moved into the last 16 of the Winston-Salem Open by winning against Australian Rinky Hijikata 6-2, 7-6 (2) at Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Tuesday night.
Coric, ranked No 29, will face the winner of the match between wildcard Michael Mmoh and No 13 seed Marcos Giron next.
Hijikata, ranked No 111, beat Ukrainian qualifier Illya Marchenko (4-6, 6-3, 6-2) in the previous round of the Winston-Salem tournament.
