China Open: Davidovich Fokina advances to second round
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina won against Yi Zhou 6-2, 6-2 on Thursday and will face the winner of the match between German Alexander Zverev, the No 8 seed, and Argentinian Diego Schwartzman in the next round

Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina reached the second round of the China Open by beating Chinese wildcard Yi Zhou 6-2, 6-2 at the Olympic Green Tennis Center in Beijing on Thursday.
Davidovich Fokina, ranked No 25, will face the winner of the match between German Alexander Zverev, the No 8 seed, and Argentinian Diego Schwartzman next.
