Sofia Open: Mannarino books spot in semi-finals

Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, the second seed, moved into the semi-finals of the Sofia Open by winning against Austrian Sebastian Ofner, the No 7 seed, 6-7 (7), 6-4, 6-3 on Thursday evening.
Mannarino, ranked No 25, will face the winner of the match between Hungarian Marton Fucsovics, the No 8 seed, and Russian Pavel Kotov next.
In the previous round, the 35-year-old Frenchman defeated Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas (6-4, 6-4).
Ofner, ranked No 44, beat Ukrainian qualifier Vitaliy Sachko (6-4, 3-6, 6-2) and Australian Christopher O’Connell (6-7 (6), 6-4, 6-2) earlier in the tournament.
