Bublik saves three MPs to end Shapovalov’s run in Montpellier
Alexander Bublik won against Denis Shapovalov 1-6, 7-6 (12), 6-3 on Wednesday evening and will play the winner of the match between Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko, the No 6 seed, and Frenchman Gregoire Barrere in the next round

Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the second seed, defeated Canadian Denis Shapovalov 1-6, 7-6 (12), 6-3 to reach the last eight of the Montpellier Open at the Sud de France Arena on Wednesday evening.
Bublik, ranked No 27, will face the winner of the match between Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko, the No 6 seed, and Frenchman Gregoire Barrere next.
Shapovalov, ranked No 137, won against Frenchman Hugo Gaston (6-1, 6-3) in the previous round of the Montpellier tournament.
