Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina, the top seed, defeated Frenchwoman Diane Parry, the No 5 seed, 1-6, 6-4, 6-2 to move into the last four of the Austin Open at the Westwood Country Club on Friday.
Kalinina, ranked No 35, will face the winner of the match between American Danielle Collins, the No 3 seed, and Chinese Xiyu Wang, the No 6 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Ukrainian won against qualifier Sara Bejlek (6-3, 6-2) and Colombian Camila Osorio (6-1, 6-2).
Parry, ranked No 62, beat qualifier Jessika Ponchet (6-3, 7-6 (4)) and Russian Kamilla Rakhimova (6-3, 6-3) in the previous rounds of the Austin tournament.
