Indian Wells: Bronzetti knocks out Kalinina to reach third round

Italian Lucia Bronzetti advanced to the third round of the Indian Wells by winning against Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina, the No 32 seed, 6-3, 6-4 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Saturday evening.

Bronzetti, ranked No 53, will face the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Clara Burel and American Coco Gauff, the No 3 seed, next.

The Italian defeated Pole Magdalena Frech (6-2, 6-4) ahead of her victory.
