Jakub Mensik reached the second round of the Mallorca Open by winning against American Christopher Eubanks, the No 8 seed, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 at Mallorca Country Club on Tuesday.
Mensik, ranked No 85, will play Italian wildcard Fabio Fognini next.
