Imperious Berrettini cruises into Kitzbuhel final

Italian Matteo Berrettini moved into the final of the Generali Open by defeating German Yannick Hanfmann 6-4, 6-4 at Kitzbühel Tennis Club in Kitzbuhel on Friday.
Berrettini, ranked No 50, will face the winner of the match between Frenchman Hugo Gaston and Argentinian Facundo Diaz Acosta next.
The Italian won against Russian Pavel Kotov (7-6 (6), 7-6 (5)), Chilean Alejandro Tabilo, the second seed (7-6 (4), 7-6 (5)) and American wildcard Nicolas Moreno De Alboran (7-6 (5), 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Kitzbuhel tournament, Hanfmann, ranked No 116, beat Spaniard Jaume Munar (6-3, 6-4), Brazilian lucky loser Gustavo Heide (6-3, 1-6, 6-2) and Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild (7-6 (2), 6-4).
