Ningbo Open: Yuan beats Tomljanovic to move into second round
Yuan will face Russian Anna Kalinskaya, the No 7 seed, in the next round

China’s Yue Yuan reached the second round of the Ningbo Open by defeating Australian qualifier Ajla Tomljanovic 6-4, 6-2 at the Yinzhou Tennis Center on Wednesday.
Tomljanovic had won seven of her last eight matches coming into this encounter, having won the WTA 125K Hong Kong Open earlier this month.
Yuan, ranked No 46, will face Russian Anna Kalinskaya, the No 7 seed, next.
