Tokyo: Boulter into last eight to face Andreescu
The Brit defeated Kyoka Okamura 6-1, 6-2 in the second round on Thursday

No 9 seed Katie Boulter moved into the last eight of the WTA Toray Pan Pacific Open by beating Japanese lucky loser Kyoka Okamura 6-1, 6-2 at the Ariake Coliseum on Thursday.
Boulter, ranked No 33, will play Canadian wildcard Bianca Andreescu next.
The Brit won against Australian qualifier Priscilla Hon (6-1, 6-4) in the previous round of the tournament.
Earlier in the week, Okamura, ranked No 271, won against American qualifier Hailey Baptiste (7-6 (4), 6-3).
