Mérida Open: Kudermetova into semi-finals
Polina Kudermetova won against Nina Stojanovic on Saturday and will play American Ann Li in the next round

Russian Polina Kudermetova reached the last four of the Mérida Open by winning against Serb Nina Stojanovic 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 at the Yucatan Country Club on Friday.
Kudermetova, ranked No 133, will play American Ann Li next.
The 21-year-old Russian beat Argentinian Nadia Podoroska, the second seed (6-1, 6-1) and American Varvara Lepchenko (6-3, 6-4) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds of the Mérida tournament, Nina Stojanovic won against German Tatjana Maria, the No 7 seed (6-4, 6-4) and Canadian Marina Stakusic (6-3, 6-3).
