MundoTenis Open: Carle advances to semi-finals
The Argentine will face Swiss qualifier Ylena In-Albon for a place in the final

Argentine Maria Lourdes Carle, the top seed, moved into the last four of the MundoTenis Open by winning against Pole Katarzyna Kawa 6-4, 6-1 on Friday.
Carle, ranked No 89, will play Swiss qualifier Ylena In-Albon next.
Ahead of her win today, the Argentinian defeated Russian qualifier Mariia Tkacheva (6-1, 6-0) and Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic (4-6, 6-2, 6-1).
Kawa, ranked No 247, beat Brazilian wildcard Luiza Fullana (6-0, 6-1) and Brazilian Laura Pigossi, the No 5 seed (6-3, 6-2) in the previous rounds.
