Dubai Open: Griekspoor upsets Humbert to move into quarter-finals

Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor reached the last eight of the Dubai Open by defeating Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 5 seed, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre.
Griekspoor, ranked No 47, will play the winner of the match between Russian Daniil Medvedev, the top seed, and Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard next.
Ahead of his victory, the Dutchman edged out Russian qualifier Roman Safiullin (5-7, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (1)).
Humbert, ranked No 15, won against Jiri Lehecka (6-3, 6-0) in the previous round of the Dubai tournament.
