WTA rankings update: Sabalenka extends lead at top; Eala breaks top 100, Raducanu back in top 50
Miami champion Sabalenka now has a lead of more than 3,000 points over No 2 Iga Swiatek

Aryna Sabalenka‘s first Miami title has moved her even further clear at the top of the WTA rankings.
The Belarusian beat Jessica Pegula in straight sets to win in Miami, and with Iga Swiatek falling in the quarter-finals, Sabalenka now has 10,541 points, a lead over the Pole of more than 3,000 points.
Inside the top 10, Jasmine Paolini moved up one place, to sixth, swapping places with Indian Wells champio Mirra Andreeva; Qinwen Zheng climbed one spot to eighth and Paola Badosa moved back inside the top 10 at No 9.

Eala storms into top 100; raducanu back into top 50
Alexandra Eala is a top 100 player for the first time, the Philippino player surging 65 places to No 75 after a sensational, breakthrough run in Miami.
The 19-year-old beat three Grand Slam champions – Jelena Ostapenko, Madison Keys and Swiatek – to reach the semi-finals, pushing Jessica Pegula all the way before going down in three sets.
Emma Raducanu is back in the top 50, too, for the first time since August 2022 after reaching the quarter-finals in Miami. The Briton is up 12 places to No 48.
Romania’s Jaqueline Cristian climbed 22 places to No 57, while former Olympic champion Belinda Bencic rose 17 places to No 41.
