Bogota Open: Riera beats Jovic to reach last eight
The Argentine will face Croatian qualifier Lea Boskovic in the next round

Argentine Julia Riera reached the last eight of the Bogota Open by beating American Iva Jovic 6-4, 6-2 at the Country Club Bogota on Thursday.
Riera, ranked No 157, will face Croat qualifier Lea Boskovic next.
Ahead of her win today, the 22-year-old Argentine benefited from the retirement of Francesca Jones (6-2, 5-7, 5-3).
Jovic, ranked No 150, won against No 3 seed Alycia Parks (6-1, 6-4) in the previous round of the tournament.
