Rabat Open: Cristian books spot in final

Romanian Jaqueline Cristian reached the final of the Rabat Open by edging out Colombian Camila Osorio, the second seed, 6-7 (6), 6-4, 6-4 at Union Sportive des Cheminots du Maroc on Friday.
Cristian, ranked No 74, will play Maya Joint next.
The Romanian won against Ukrainian wildcard Yelyzaveta Kotliar (6-3, 6-1), Spaniard Aliona Bolsova (7-6 (1), 7-6 (1)) and Latvian wildcard Anastasija Sevastova (6-3, 6-4) in the previous rounds of the Rabat tournament.
Earlier in the tournament, Osorio, ranked No 55, defeated Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto (2-6, 6-3, 6-2), Russian Kamilla Rakhimova (4-6, 6-2, 6-3) and American Maria Mateas (6-3, 6-1).
