Wimbledon: Anisimova battles past Galfi to reach last 16

American Amanda Anisimova, the No 13 seed, advanced to the last 16 of Wimbledon by defeating Hungarian Dalma Galfi 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Anisimova, ranked No 12, will face the winner of the match between Russian Kamilla Rakhimova and No 30 seed Linda Noskova next.
Ahead of her victory, the American won against Kazakh Yulia Putintseva (6-0, 6-0) and Mexican Renata Zarazua (6-4, 6-3).
Galfi, ranked No 110, edged out wildcard Harriet Dart (3-6, 6-3, 7-5) and beat Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, the No 21 seed (7-6 (7), 6-1) in the previous rounds of The Championships.
