Jack Draper will make his return to competition at the UTS London Grand Final
It will be Jack Draper’s first appearance on court since his withdrawal at the US Open.

British No.1 and current World No.7 Jack Draper is set to make a widely anticipated return to competition at the UTS London Grand Final, held at the Copper Box Arena from 5-7 December 2025. Draper has been granted a wild-card in the last stage of the 2025 UTS Tour.
Draper has been absent from the circuit since suffering a persistent pain and injury affecting his left arm. At the US Open, a setback that interrupted what had been a breakthrough season for the young Briton, including his climbing into the ATP Top 5 with a Masters 1000 win on the run.
The injury forced the British star out of the Shanghai Masters and the autumn indoor schedule, putting question marks around his participation in season-end showpieces. Draper’s return at UTS London marks his first action post-injury and reflects both his rehabilitation efforts and confidence in front of the home crowd.
Draper’s run at 2023 UTS Grand Final
Draper’s relationship with the UTS format is especially notable, as his 2023 London Grand Final win provided a springboard for his ATP Tour success. In December 2023, Draper, already a wild-card, outclassed the field in London, demonstrating aggressive play and tactical sharpness in UTS’s fast-paced, innovative format.
The victory in his home city was the lefty’s first professional title.
Draper is joining Tomas Machac and Casper Ruud in the field, out of a roster of eight. Casper Ruud secured early qualification for London by clinching UTS Nîmes in April. Rising Czech talent Tomas Machac had previously triumphed at UTS Guadalajara in February.
The final direct qualification slot is set to be awarded at UTS Hong Kong (14-15 October 2025), where eight players will chase four tickets for the UTS Grand Final : Andrey Rublev, Alex de Minaur, Nick Kyrgios, Jakub Mensik, Zhang Zhizhen and Coleman Wong. David Goffin will not compete but he stills can qualify as a Guadalajara runner-up.
The eigth ticket will be awarded to a second wild-card.
