Paris Masters: Cazaux books second-dound spot in first-ever match at the 17500-seat Paris La Défense Arena

French wildcard Arthur Cazaux advanced to the second round of Paris Masters by beating Italian Luciano Darderi 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4) at the first ever match played at the new La Défense Arena Center court on Monday.

Cazaux, ranked No 62, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 15 seed, and French lucky loser Valentin Royer next. Royer is replacing Ugo Humbert, who had to withdraw in the morning due to a back injury.
