Paris Masters: Sinner makes last eight against Shelton
Jannik Sinner won against Francisco Cerundolo 7-5, 6-1 on Thursday evening and will play American Ben Shelton, the No 5 seed, in the next round

            Italian Jannik Sinner, the second seed, beat Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo 7-5, 6-1 to advance to the quarter-finals of Paris Masters at the Paris La Défense Arena on Thursday evening.
“It was a very difficult first set”, Sinner said to the reporters after the match. “I was up, you know twice at the break, couldn’t convert it, which, you know, happens. And but again, I’m very happy. Now the main focus is to recover.”
Sinner, ranked No 2, will face American Ben Shelton, the No 5 seed, next.
