Jack Draper has been forced to withdraw from this week’s Victorian Plumbing UTS London Grand Final, which gets underway on Friday. He will be replaced in Group B by last year’s semi-finalist, Ugo Humbert.

British No.1 Draper has not played since the US Open due to an arm injury and has been advised to continue his rest and rehabilitation.

Draper has made the following statement to fans: “Hi guys. I’ve been working hard to be back for UTS in London but frustratingly I’m just not quite ready. It’s a tough call as at this point I want nothing more than to get out there and compete but I’ve been advised to take more time. I’m sorry to let down fans and miss out on this event 😢 ”

53 ATP Tour titles and 8 UTS Tour titles on the line

The field for the Victorian Plumbing UTS London Grand Final, led by defending champion and World No.7 Alex De Minaur, remains one of the strongest in UTS history.

All eight players competing at the Copper Box Arena, including Humbert, have been ranked inside the World’s Top 20. The Frenchman has a career high ranking of 13 and owns seven career ATP titles. Humbert will face tough competition from De Minaur, Andrey Rublev, Tomas Machac, Casper Ruud, Francisco Cerundolo, David Goffin and Adrian Mannarino. Between them they own 53 ATP Tour titles and 8 UTS Tour titles.
