Juan Carlos Ferrero will join Bryan Shelton in coaching his son Ben Shelton from 2027, The Times reported on Sunday. The Spaniard coached Carlos Alcaraz until the end of the 2025 season.
Tennis Majors contacted Ferrero and Bryan Shelton for confirmation but had not received a reply at the time of publication.
The report is by Tom Kershaw, who first revealed in October that Felix Auger-Aliassime had hired Ivan Ljubicic, a move the Canadian confirmed the next day.
Ferrero, a former World No. 1, announced in September that he would return to coaching in 2027. He recently reopened the subject of his split with Alcaraz in an interview with El Mundo.
Shelton, the American world No. 4, has already qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin.
